COVID-19 Update

We understand that you depend on Primus for your communications needs and that you may have concerns about any service impacts from the Coronavirus situation. We want to assure you that Primus operations remain uninterrupted and have implemented our emergency response plans which we are continually monitoring and adapting as the COVID-19 situation evolves.

At this time field technicians are being dispatched; however, prior to arriving on-site, they will be calling to ensure that there are no cases or symptoms of COVID-19 including individuals who are self-quarantined due to recent exposure or out of country travel in the past 14 days. Please note that we’re experiencing longer installation and repair timelines due to COVID-19. As usual, our staff is available to help with any specific order or implementation concerns.

We know how important it is to stay in touch with family and friends. In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, Primus will be automatically be waiving overage charges on our usage based internet plans for our residential Internet customers. You can stream, surf and connect with family and friends without worrying about overage fees until further notice. This will automatically be applied to your account, so no changes to your existing account will be required.

We continue to monitor the usage across our network. Where and when required, we will be augmenting the capacity to continue to provide the necessary bandwidth to ensure a stable, reliable service as many Canadians work from home.
