Program Guide Overview and Functions

Use the guide to see what’s on live TV channels.

1. Press the Guide button on your remote control.
2. Use the arrow buttons on the remote control to navigate through the programming guide. You can also use the CH+ or CH- buttons to scroll through many channels.
3. To watch a program which is currently airing, select the program and click the middle OK button. Click once to see program details; click a second time to begin watching.
4. If the program is scheduled for later, Click OK button once to see program details and click a second time to schedule a recording. Learn more about PVR recording here.

Add your Google Account to your TV account

It is not necessary to have a Google account to use your Primus TV service. However, adding your Google account allows you to easily add Apps to your TV Set-Top Box via the Google Play Store.

Add your Google account through the Settings option on your device.

• Popular Apps such as YouTube, Crave, Amazon Prime Video, Twitch, Spotify are all available through the Play Store once an account is logged in.
• A credit card is not required for the creation of Google account.
• Please note the Netflix App is not currently supported on the Amino set-top box.

Pause and Rewind Live TV with Cloud PVR

Primus TV service allows you to pause a live TV channel to watch later or rewind to when you began watching the channel just like having a local PVR.

To pause live TV

1. Using your remote, press Pause button to pause your live TV.
2. To resume watching press Play button .

To rewind live TV

1. If you want to rewind, press the Pause/Play button twice.
2. Press the Rewind button . This may take a second or two depending on how long the channel has been recording. You can increase the rewind speed by pressing multiple times on the rewind button.
3. To resume watching press the Play button .

Note: If you’ve scheduled a recording in advance, you can rewind to the beginning of the show. If you just started a recording on the live channel with the R button , you may be unable to rewind if you tuned away from the channel.

Add a User Profile on Your Amino Set-Top Box

Your primary TV account profile is the name associated with your Primus account. On your Set-Top Box, you can make changes to it or add new user profiles to save history and apply unique parental controls for each user.

To add a new user profile:

1. Select your account from the home menu and then select Users.
2. Click Add User and enter the PIN included in your Primus TV Welcome Letter.
3. Add a name to the new profile.

Setting Up Parental Controls on Your Amino Set-Top Box

Parental Controls can be added so that kids or other family members have access to only appropriate programs. This feature is only available using your Set-Top Box.

First you need to enable the PIN on Login for the main user profile:

1. From the home menu select your account. You can also go to your account by clicking the Left Arrow button while in the Guide
2. Select Users, then select Edit User.
3. Entre the PIN included in your Primus TV Welcome Letter.
4. Select PIN on Login and enable it on the Profile Settings page.

Add Parental Controls to a new or an existing user profile:

1. From the home menu select your account and then select Users. You can also go to your account by clicking the Left Arrow button while in the Guide.
2. To create a new profile, select Add a User Profile.
3. The select Edit User and in the Settings select Parents Controls
4. On the Movie Rating and the TV Rating Flags enter the PIN included in your Primus TV Welcome Letter, then select the content you want to block.

The profile does not require the PIN to watch acceptable content. The PIN is required to make changes to the user profile or to access blocked content.

Using Cloud PVR on Your Amino TV Set-Top Box

Your Primus TV service includes a PVR so you can record programs and watch anytime you choose.

Your Primus TV service comes with 50 hours of storage. You can choose to increase your storage to 100 or 200 hours. See details here.

To check your storage capacity, go to Recordings in the home menu. Your current storage level will show at the top of the screen. It includes everything you have already saved and programs you have scheduled to record.

How to record a program now

In the program guide double click on the program you want to record or go to the channel using your remote. Then click the red R button on your remote to start recording.

How to schedule a recording

1. Click on the Guide button on your remote control. Then use the arrow buttons to find the program you want to record.
2. Click the OK button twice. Then click OK on the RECORD option on the screen.
3. Select Record Episode or Record Series. You can choose to record all episodes including re-runs, or only new episodes. You can also choose to record only on the channel currently selected, or on all channels.
4. To change your recording settings, press Manage Recording, from the program details screen.
5. To cancel a scheduled recording click Manage Recordings and select Cancel Episode / Cancel Series.

Managing Cloud PVR Recordings on Your Amino Set-Top Box

Watch recorded content on your TV

1. From your Primus TV home menu select Recordings to see your pre-recorded library.
2. Select the program you would like to watch and click OK twice to start playing. If you have more than one episode recorded, a list of episode options will appear to the left. Simply click on the episode you would like to watch.

Delete recorded content

1. From the Primus TV home menu go to Recordings.
2. Select the pre-recorded program or series you would like to delete and press OK.
3. Press the right arrow key on your remote to display more options.
4. Select Manage Recordings, from there, the option to Delete Episode/Series will appear. Press OK to delete.
5. You can also cancel future recordings by selecting Cancel Future Recordings.

Protecting recordings

1. From the Primus TV home menu click Recordings.
2. Select the pre-recorded program you would like to protect and press OK.
3. Press the right arrow key on your remote to display more options.
4. From the displayed options select Protect Recording, this also prevents the recording from being deleted by other users.

Using Your Primus TOTALTV App

You can also watch TV on your smartphone or tablet using our app and your Primus home Wi-Fi.

Download the Primus TOTALTV app from Google Play, or App store on up to 7 mobile devices. To download the app on your Apple device you require iOS 10.0 or later and OS 4.0.3 or later for Android devices. You can also download the Primus TOTALTV app on up to 3 stationary devices such as Android TV. Once you reach the maximum number of devices, you will not be able to add a new one until you remove an existing device. You will need to contact us to manage your devices.

Watch TV on additional devices using the Primus TOTALTV App

1. Open the Primus TOTALTV App on your device.
2. Type your TV User ID and password available on your Primus TV Welcome Letter or find them on MyPrimus, under Service Overview > My Services tab.
3. Click login.
4. Scroll through the guide as you would on your TV to select and view any program.
5. Select the program you want to watch and press Play button to start watching.

Note: You can also access or manage your Cloud PVR recordings from your app.

Cloud PVR recordings on Primus TOTALTV App

To Record a program on Primus TOTALTV App

1. On the program guide find and select the program you want to record to display more info.
2. Click Record.
3. To view your pre-recorded and scheduled programs go to the Primus TOTALTV App home menu and click Recordings.

Watch recorded content on your smartphone or tablet

You can access the same recordings you have made on your set-top box by simply using the Primus TOTALTV App on your device.

1. From the Primus TOTALTV App home menu go to Recordings.
2. Find and select the program you want to watch in the recorded series list.
3. Press Play to start watching on your device.
